Cuban exports will be marketed on the Chinese platform JD.com

Cuban authorities reported today the arrival in China of the first container with export products to be sold through the JD.com e-commerce platform, consolidated as one of the most important in the country.
The island's embassy in the Asian country indicated that the lot arrived the day before at the port of Xiamen (east). According to the diplomatic headquarters, a wide variety of products such as rums, honey and fruit preserves will be available. Other goods that will arrive in a future shipment will be added to the catalog later.
"In a few days the National Pavilion will begin to function on the important Chinese platform JDWorldWide.com, as part of our government's strategy to expand and diversify Cuban exports to the Chinese market."
He also added that the pavilion at JD.com will also be a space for promoting "tourist and cultural services to attract more Chinese visitors to our country".
That company is one of the e-commerce giants in China, along with Alibaba.com, Taobao and Sunning, among others. It ranked 102nd on the Fortune List of the 500 largest companies in the world, brings together more than 20,000 brands from a hundred countries and has more than 400 million active customers.
